Event Waiver and Media Release

Event Name: Walking in Purpose – 2 Mile Community Walk

Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in physical activities, including walking events, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, falls, or other unforeseen incidents.

I voluntarily choose to participate in this event and assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I may incur.

Medical Responsibility

I certify that I am physically able to participate in this activity and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional.

I understand that Capable Sista Society LLC is not responsible for providing medical care, and I agree to seek medical attention at my own discretion if needed.

Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Capable Sista Society LLC, its owner(s), organizers, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in this event.

Photo & Media Release

I grant permission for Capable Sista Society LLC to capture and use photographs, video, or other media taken during the event for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

Code of Conduct

I agree to participate respectfully and uphold the values of the Capable Sista Society community, including respect, safety, and positive engagement.

Agreement

By registering for this event, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver in full.
